We are also just 5 miles from Shannon's Lough Derg where you can discover Ireland's Premier Pleasure Lake and follow the Lough Derg Trail which takes you on beautiful shore-line routes through picturesque villages, such as Killaloe and Mountshannon, where you can take a boat trip out to Holy Island, an ancient Celtic monastic site, a truly spiritual experience.  T.J.s Angling Centre will supply you with all your fishing equipment, beginners catered for.
